Collision Avoidance Driving Empty
PostSubject: Collision Avoidance Driving    Collision Avoidance Driving Icon_minitimeFri May 19, 2017 11:20 pm

Collision Avoidance Driving emphasizes space, time and observation techniques when driving under all traffic conditions. Collision prevention and how to operate a motor vehicle safely with optimum control and confidence is also taught. This course begins with a 90 minute classroom session followed by hands-on driving instruction in a mini-van. The course is conducted on designated routes. Some of these capabilities, such as forward-collision warning systems, have been around for a few years, mostly on high-end luxury cars. Others, like steering assist, are just getting ready for prime time. The good news is that the collision-avoidance systems are getting better and are spreading to mainstream cars.
