Reckless Driving or Racing on Highways Empty

A person who drives without any regard for the safety of other people and property can be charged with reckless driving. Any form of 'street racing', including competitions, acceleration contests, exhibition of speed, trying to make a speed record on any road or in any parking lot or even slowing of traffic for the purpose of any competition are all counted under racing on highways. Both these offences are first degree misdemeanors. If any person suffers bodily injury from these actions, it will be counted as a third-degree felony.

Thanks
